Welcome to Atom Team 7!
Here is a quick recap from our first team meeting today.
- Would be great to have 4 or more coaches/on-ice helpers on the ice for practices. Adam will start a group chat with anyone that is interested in helping on the ice. THANK YOU to everyone who is willing to help
- Team Fees will be set at $200. We will hold off until next week to start paying these as we will need to open a bank account. If anyone has any corporate donations that they have available to them you can let Amy Wirachowsky know
- We will look at doing 1 or 2 overnight tournaments and 1 or 2 one-day close by tournaments. Our goal is to have one overnight tournament close to the beginning of the year so that players and parents can get to know each other closer to the beginning of the season. If anyone has any leads or contacts for tournaments let Amy know.
- We will hold off on players preferred jersey numbers until we receive the jerseys. Certain numbers are certain sizes and that may limit the choices players have so that their jersey will fit.
- Please bring two names bars to practice on Monday - if you have black on white and white on black great!, if not any two will do. Jo Mcleod has agreed to sew the name bars on the jerseys. I know in past years for Atom we have not always had room for the players name bars on the jerseys due to the sponsorship from Mcdonald's so we will have to wait and see if we are able to fit them on or not.
- We will be able to order our clothing through Pear Media as a parent on our team, Christine Hart, runs the business! Please email Amy what type of clothing you would like to purchase and Christine will bring in some sizes for kids to try on. (If you do not want to purchase clothing please do not feel like you have to.)
- There will likely be lots more info to come over the next couple of weeks so I apologize in advance for all the emails that will most likely go out. (You are not able to just respond to the emails sent through RAMP - they are not retrievable!)
