Peewee City League Playoffs
Hi Guys,
I received an update today regarding the City League Playoffs. All teams must be finished league games by Sunday Feb 17th. Playoff games will start up the next week. I will send a copy of the format via team snap as I can't figure out how to attach it here. Playoffs will be a two game total point series with a double elimination. Everyone is guaranteed at least two games. Based on our stats, our first playoff game will be between Feb 21st and Feb 27th. We won't have an exact date until game one is played between the 2nd and 5th place teams. There will be 8 playoff games in total with a championship game on March 17th. Managers will be responsible for scheduling the games with Maryann around any exhibition games we still have to play. I have been told some games will have to be played during the week to get them all in so please keep that in mind.
Just an FYI - I am heading out of town Feb 15th - 24th. Last week was my Mom's 65th birthday and next week is my little sisters 40th. We have had a girls trip planned for this week over a year now. I won't have access to my phone while I am away so if you have any questions, please email or text Paul directly (prousson@yahoo.com or 306-821-3667). Below is our schedule while I am away. I have already confirmed the games with the other teams so there should not be any changes. They are also on both RAMP and Team Snap.
Saturday Feb 16 - Home exhibition game vs. Wainwright Peewee 2 - 5:30pm at SSC-Rusway
Sunday Feb 17 - Our last league game of the season - Home game vs. Team #2 - 9:45am at Russ Robertson - Timekeepers are Hill and Davidson
Saturday Feb 23 - Home exhibition game vs. St Walburg - 3:30pm at Archie Miller
Paul will update team snap with the date and time of our first playoff game once he gets it.
Regarding the Minor Hockey Week prizes, I have also picked up our pool party gift certificate. We have won a 3 hour pool party at BCMI. I will look in to booking it for our year end wrap up when I get back to town. We are still waiting to receive the pizza party certificates.
